F.A.Q (Frequently asked questions) |
· How do I book and pay for my tour? You can book online, or by calling or emailing us. We will respond with confirmation of your booking within 72 hours. Please do not pay for your booking until this has been confirmed. If you wish to pay on the day we accept cash or checks. Please be aware we are NOT able to accept card payments on the day. If you wish to pay by card please follow the paypal link on the bookings page. If you wish to pay on the day for a party of 4 or more, we do require a 20% non refundable deposit in advance. · What is your cancellation policy? We do require at least 72 hours cancellation notice due to the nature of our business. If you cancel before this time, we will refund 100% of any monies paid. If you cancel between 48 and 24 hours before your scheduled ride we will retain your deposit, but refund any other monies held. After 24 hours we are only able to reschedule you and are not able to refund any monies. · How often are you open? As we rotate our horses and guides we are available for trips 7 days per week! · Do you still ride if it is raining/ snowing? Yes we do! Most summer rain in the area is over quickly and does not impact the trails. However, if we are expecting a large storm in the area we will notify you and attempt to reschedule your tour. · Do I have to have any riding experience? No! We have had people on our tours who have never even seen a horse up close before! All our horses are well trained and know their job. We also make sure that you know how to give the basic commands before you head out. You are also accompanied by at least 1 experienced guide who can assist you if you have questions during the ride. · What are your age limits? We take riders from 6 years old upwards. However for a full trail ride, we recommend that riders are 8 years old upwards and must be supervised at all times. We have no upper age limit. · Do you have weight limits? Due to the nature of the terrain and our concern for the welfare of our horses we limit our riders to 300 lbs. · What do I need to bring? We provide helmets for those who would like to use them. We do strongly recommend that helmets are worn, especially by riders under the age of 18. We suggest that you bring along sunglasses and sun lotion, an extra layer of clothing and/ or a rain jacket. You will also need boots or closed toe shoes. Do you do any custom trips/ events? Yes we do. We have had family days, romantic moonlight proposals, hen parties etc. We can also arrange tours if you want to bring your own horse. If you have something in mind or would like to suggest something, please contact us! |
